Home / About Us

Blue Quench® is a technology company on a mission: to make life better by making “ice cold” the new beverage standard. Using our patented RotoQuench Technology™,  we can rapidly cool beverages (you name it, from a 6-pack of beer to wine bottles and aluminum cans to 3 cases of your favorite soda) from 75 °F to ice cold. Anywhere. And in as little as 60 seconds.

We develop products that allow our customers to say “hell no” to the days of cool...ish, tepid, mouthfuls of ...meh. And instead deliver ice freaking cold beverages to themselves, their guests and their customers. Every time. Because while life is full of compromises, enjoying a beverage at it’s optimal ice coldness, right here and now, shouldn’t be one of them.

Our Key Milestones

1972

During a family reunion in Pennsylvania, John enjoys his first ice cold drink straight out of what is now considered an old fashioned Coke machine. He reaches into a tub filled with near-freezing water, hunts for a bottle, and pulls back a cold drink, along with a frozen arm.

1990

John buys and begins refurbishing an old-fashioned Coke machine. He wonders if he could come up with a better way to cool drinks just like the “old days” minus the cold arm.

2009

John starts working on a new process to cool beverages quickly involving physics and thermodynamics.

2012

First patent is issued.

2013-2015

Work continues on his patented cooling process, eliminating the need for complex mechanical components.

2016

Product development begins on a 12-pack version of qooler™ .

2018

A qooler looks like, works like prototype is produced and goes through extensive testing. This version of qooler makes up to 6 cans ice cold in as little as 60 seconds using ice and water. No frozen arm necessary.

2019

qooler, the 6-pack version, will be available for preorder soon.
